Navigating life with a neurodivergent brain
Breaking the stigma piece by piece, day by day, so that we can live in a world, where we can all thrive.
Welcome to Laura’s world!
Hey there, I am Laura and I am happy to have you here!
I grew up in a turbulent environment, navigating my parents’ vicious divorce and bullying at school. These experiences led me to develop severe generalised anxiety, agoraphobia, and panic attacks later in life, along with an array of chronic illnesses.
I have always felt different and I never knew why until I got diagnosed with autism and ADHD last year. I became proficient in masking, but soon I realised that what helped me survive in my past was actually hindering my present life.
I have been on a healing journey for the good part of the past 10 years and during all of the isolation of living with chronic mental and physical health issues, online communities were there for me and helped me survive. This page is my way of giving back. Hope you leave here feeling understood, supported, and hopeful for the future.
